Is it possible to start the Prius v by remote? To warm the car up before leaving when the windows are icy and full of condens? Does any of you do that and what are the experiences? Is it an official Toyota accessory? Thanks!
Toyota does officially sell a dealer installed remote start, according to their marketing brochure for the Prius v. While I have used such a system on other vehicles with excellent results, I don't know the Toyota system. That said, I am leaning toward having one in my v for the conveniences you mentioned.
toyota's remote starter has too short a range, and turns the car off when you unlock it. viper has gotten good reviews in prior threads.
