Since more of you have viewed with production PiPrius, can anyone say if the Std. model Display Audio Screen has an Energy Monitor Display that shows power flow arrows and Plug-in usage data?
I dont recall it being displayed on the audio screen, but rather on the top display. It was to the right of the speedometer.
No, on the Display Audio MFD. that the Std PiPrius has. It seems like the Prius V owners could answer this if they push the "CAR" button You were getting close here....Post #69 in your photostream. I knew I'd seen it somewhere...! It must have it cause theres the touch button By the way, what the difference between green v. yellow consumption bars in the graph
This one seems to be from the Standard trim since I don't see the GreenEdge JBL logo. The graphics are different than the one posted above for the Adv trim. 9G-Man beat me to it.

I thought it was just a smaller screen with the CD slot.. not that the interface was different! UGH! I would have ordered the advanced had I known this
There is a sun glare on that pic. The screen resolution appears no worse that a Gen2 late model MFD> But nothing like the Premium HDD system.
Previous trip vs. current trip. (Previous trip was 17 mins long. Current one is 11 mins long). It's been that way since 2007 when it was introduced in the TCH.
do not know, in my mind, the difference in graphics is more gaudy/flashy than anything else. in the map it matters, but how many people will actually be using the built-in navigation instead of their phone?
so i'm a little confused (as always). does the base trim PIP have a consumption display on the large LCD? or is it only on the VFD that's in the dash?
It has a consumption and energy display on the large LCD (Display Audio). A pic of consumption on the base model PiP is just a few posts up. ^^ Post #5
thanks. one thing i didn't like about the gen-3 prius was the lack of the big energy display. at least i thought it didn't have one (maybe higher packages do?) at any rate i'm glad to see it's back on the standard PIP.
You're correct, none of the 2010-2011 models have it. It's all on the smaller 5" MID. Nice to see it back on the big display too and with split-screen capability!
