2013 Prius v HDD Navigation Update - How?

    OK, so let's say you have a Prius v with HDD Navigation. Is this going to require, like some vehicles, that you purchase a new HDD to update the Navigation database? Do the delalers re-image the drive or update it instead? Does anyone know yet?

    I believe it's a USB key you stick in the usb port and the HDD gets the update from there the same way it gets its startup image, etc.

    I wonder if that will be a user-update or strictly dealer provided activity. :confused:

    Both systems maps are updated with USB.
