Hey...Light grey interior holds up very well and doesnt require alot of maintenance. I work with Interstate Toyota in Monsey, NY. Anyone reading this...we are having a 2012 PriusV launch party on Monday Nov. 21st between 5-8PM. There will live music, BBQ, beverages and representation from Toyota for those wanting to learn more about this great vehicle. By the way, Im 6'2 and the seats front and back are amazing....much improved over last yrs. model. We are located at 411 RT 59. Monsey, NY 10952. Thanks, Ron
I agree with Dianne. When I had a dark interior Every Hair From My Dog Looked Like it was on Stage with a Spot Light Shinning on it. :attention: Actually it was on the dashboard. Light Colors (Except White) Hide the dirt on the outside and The Dust & Pet Hair On The Inside.
My husband purchased the Prius V for our family on Sunday. My husband loves the interior space in it. I love that I can pack a ton of stuff in it and get great fuel mileage. There is tons of room in the back for our dog. The back up camera is really great when you have a steep driveway. My eleven year old son loves it. My 9 year old son informed me he wants my car when he grows up! Love the space and it is a good compromise if your family needs a bigger car but wants great mileage.
My husband loves the sliding seats in it too. We probably should have waited to get a better deal on it. We all love the car.
Light interior, dark interior, prius v , 2012, plug in, Leather, at, etc my head is spinning. In the mean time i'll just keep driving my 2011 III down the road smiling.
Err, that's incorrect. The 2012 Prius Four and higher will have a power driver's seat. You do not have to get the AT Package to get it.
this is great! lots of new people gettin into Prius. Don't get me wrong, but kinda wish one of ours were competing better, ahem, Ford.
I believe the tech. A bit disappointed that I cant get that option in the v. I coudn't stand a regular Prius but I'm looking hard at the v.
Can you tell me where you bought the sheep skin seat covers? Feel that even with the gray soft-tex it will scratch easily. Also want to be sure the seat covers fit well and don't look cheesy. Looks like you are happy with yours.
Okay, just ordered Prius v Model 5 today. I am not sure I got the VIP price I was looking for. I got the white with window tint (Live in TX. Need tint.) with a vehicle shield exterior package (probably did not need as much but I am not big on waxing) for $30,900. I was hoping to keep it under $30,000. Not sure if I got the best deal but supposedly I am on VIP list with dealer now with unlimited oil changes while I own vehicle with 15% on service and parts. I hope I did not get hosed. However, I am okay and will trade 2003 SUV so I can get the financed amount down to a manageable level. Did not go with AT package b/c not needed for me. Should get car by end of month. Went with dark grey interior. Will look for seat covers for back seat for 6 year old.
My wife and I will be buying a Prius in the near future. Do you mind revealing which Austin dealership you dealt with? Thanks, Geary
Champion Toyota. Still wondering a bit about deal. Usually buy in San Antonio. I would check there as well. Did not find much earlier there & kinda stopped looking. Prius v inventory has improved lately in Texas.
Be careful with their "free" oil changes at that dealer. They tend to find a lot of things that are needed during the free changes (read: UPSELL). I have a friend who was told that she needed a $1300 head gasket on an older model. I had my service advisor at another Austin dealer check it and she ended up with a $350 repair. You get your first couple of years of free oil changes as part of the standard Toyota service package. You might try some local dealers and see which one you feel most comfortable with.
