I am new here. I just bought a Prius v model 5 2 days ago. I am not sure whether I got the best deal that I can get. I paid about $1000 under the sticker price (sticker price is 31,120 including delivery fee and floor mats etc). Is this a good price? I just thought I might have paid too much. Any comments or anyone can share what you paid for a model 5 without tech packages? Thanks!
I wouldn't say that's a horrible price, but I can already tell you, Dianne from Carson Toyota, advertised a base v Five (no AT) for under $30k, $29995 I think. Not much less, but it is a little less than you, and I honestly think anyone can do even better than Dianne's price, in California where Prius v's see a little more abundant, with a little patience (sorry Dianne! )
Check out Dianne's pricing/inventory. Her pricing is in So Cal so that may be more comparative. When we bought a few days out of port it seemed anything under MSRP was hard to find. It sounds like your pricing is in the mix though What colors did you get? Mine is silver / dark grey
I got a metallic grey/dark grey. I actually paid 33000 out of door price. I think I could have done better if I am patient enough to wait for another week.
I got a v Three, not a Five so it's not complete apples to apples, but we paid 1785 under MSRP for ours, 28370 down to 26585
I paid 28,750 (plus tax and registration) for a 2013 V model 5. Sticker was about 31,250. It was in mid December. Love the car (my 6th Prius!). I paid cash but I don't think that mattered in pricing. Santa Barbara Toyota.
