How does the v (wagon) floor mats compare to the original Prius? I might have to take a trip back to the dealer and compare for myself.
I love my 2010's All Weather mats but the ones in the picture here for the Prius v look no where like mine and the ridges look quite flat. I think you're right, seeing them in person may be best. Toyota Prius v Accessories
The all weather floor mats from the dealer are $100. There is a small lip around the perimeter of them which keeps water (melted snow) etc from spilling over the edge. I am trading out the $225 carpet mats for them. Weather Tech brand has not come out with aftermarket mats including the cargo mat just yet. I will be purchasing the rubber cargo mat as soon as one is available. The of course, a waterproof seat cover for the back seat for my dogs while they are safely seat belted in their spots!
Regarding the all-weather floor mats, do the set come in three, with the long one for the second row, or only for the front? Is there an all-weather cargo mat?
I use the cargo liner from my 08 prius in the v and it fits pretty good, just a bit small at the corners.
If you don't mind having non branded mats and doing a bit of trimming, I would recommend that you check out the generic rubber mats they've got at Costco right now (at least out here in San Diego). I picked up an entire set for 15 bucks (vs. $100+ from dealer) and they fit just fine. They have three or four colors, and the dark grey that I found matched perfectly. I had to do a bit of trimming for the driver's side, but it actually covers more than the factory mats. They're made of tough rubber and definitely prevent dirt, mud and presumably snow from getting all over the floor. Also, as with most anything, you can try them out and if you aren't thrilled with them Costco will take them back!
Do the Costco mats have the holes through which the lock clips fit to keep the mat in place on the driver's side?
Purchased Toyota OEM v rubber mats on ebay for $84 with free shipping. I believe the dealer wanted $120 for the same thing.
No. The Costco ones don't have the hole on the driver's side where the hook is. If you are concerned about the mats moving, you can definitely make a hole to accommodate the hooks. However, I found that trimming it so that it is not underneath the pedals is fine for me.
I just bought a Prius V3 today with all weather mats in lieu of the carpeted mats. There are two mats in the front and it looks like one long one in the back. There is no a cargo mat available just yet. The mats are great!
$80 here, for the genuine Toyota ones: 2012 Toyota Prius V BLACK All-Weather Floor Mats - BRAND NEW OEM AW MAT SET!! | eBay
Mine came with all weather mats but they are two in front and two in back. The back ones lie close together and look like one but are two separate mats.
The description on PriusChat Shop says "All 4 mats are included (2 front, 2 rear). Color is black." No mention of a separate rear cargo area mat. Is the description incorrect? Or is the dealer mats different?
