I bought a set of older but like new take off Subaru Impreza WRX 15" x 6" Steel Wheels 6'' wide 5x100 Lug Pattern I'm hoping these will work for snow wheels for my Wintercat XT P185/65/15. Anyone using something like these for snow wheels?
The stock wheels are very light and fitting steel might give you worse fuel consumption. That might be why not many in here would of done that. The Subaru wheels have a slightly different offset but are basically the same size. I got lucky and bought a set of touring wheels from Ebay very cheap, I run 205 50 16 in summer and 205 55 16 in winter. I am in the UK and we don't have those lovely smooth wide roads.
