where can I find prius v invoice price? I submitted a request on costco auto buying program just to see what price they offer, dealer called me back and offer MSRP. Does anyone know what is the invoice price for each level and dealer cost on accessories (like mud guard, all weather mat) Thanks.
Edmunds does not give me the accessories invoice price. Dealer quote have added a lot of things like floor mats, cargo mats, mud guard, wheel lock, even $200 doc fees (maybe normal?)
Costco hasn't negotiated a price yet with the dealers. Ask them for a "Costco like price" - I got $400 over invoice, and I'm pretty satisfied for my V (III). You can ask the dealer for the invoice, or check: New 2012 Toyota Prius V Price Quote w/ MSRP, Dealer Cost & Invoice
From what I understand.........Dealer can sell at invoice price if they want to move some cars and make the "holdback money" from Toyota for each cars which ranges from 1.5% of list plus depending on the model of Toyota.....
go to another dealer and ask... http://autos.aol.com/cars-Toyota-Prius+v-2012/options/ Don't know how accurate, but if it's on the internet must be right....
That is for the 2011 pkg 5(v) car. Yahoo doesn't have data for the 2012 Prius v van/wagon yet. nevermind
The AAA price is over MSRP for everything befow the Five & a shade under MSRP for the Five. They also list the invoice prices.
Depending on where you're at, the Doc fee game is universal in some areas (i.e. Phoenix valley, every dealer has a $359 non-negotiable doc fee). I saw two on a Phoenix area dealer lot that are $561 under MSRP for the base Prius v Two and they only add Carpeted Floor Mats (CF). I didn't see any Three or Five models to understand where those were priced, but this particular dealer is always at or under MSRP (but does do the Doc fee).
Just call the fleet or internet mgr at any large dealer. Mine will sell a loaded V for $500 over. If your a serious buyer they will print the invoice and show it to you. Remember, it's just a car and they get more all of the time. They'll make a big hit on the sucker that falls for the "These are hard to find" bit and sell you one cheap.
The doc fee at most dealers in PHX is $429. Peoria is $299. Sierra VIsta $199. It's a non-regulated state unlike Ca where the doc fee is $55. Anyway, invoice is $25,228.00 for the model three. Dealers get a $528 hold back on the from Toyota as well. For the model two the hold back is less and for the model five it is a little more.
