Can someone tell where I can download the entune app to my phone (a link would be great)? I have blackberry 9650 with os 5.0.0.1030 on US Sprint network. Thanks a lot
On my Android phone I just goto the marketplace and search for Entune. It should be the same on BB, goto the BB Marketplace and search for it, once found d/l it.
I did try that, but found nothing. I googled toyota entune app download, found a link on blackberry site, but when I try to download it, it says not avail for my phone. Following link not working for me although I fit all requirements listed on that page. Free Toyota Entune - Download Toyota Entune - Free Apps from BlackBerry App World I spend some time on toyota website and found nothing (toyota should have this app for download, right?) Prius v is not even a choice on the link below Toyota.com - Connect Anyone else using a blackberry care to share some info?
Free Toyota Entune - Download Toyota Entune - Free Apps from BlackBerry App World is the link Toyota provides for it when you are logged in to entune at https://www.myentune.com/devices Peter+
That is the exact same link from my google search, but does not work for me. It says does not work for my device (but I clearly met all requirements), who should I call, blackberry or toyota support?
What blackberry are you running? I believe you contact toyota mobile support: [email protected] Peter+
Same problem with my Prius V 5 and Blackberry 9810 (OS7). Can't download the app because it's incompatible with my phone. The 9800 is supported apparently. Called Toyota and there is (of course) no ETA to support the 9810 or OS7.... Bummer... Also won't work with my Xoom Android tablet.
I have blackberry 9650 with os 5.0.0.1030 on US Sprint network. Got the exact same error, it will not even let me download the entune app. But phone set up meet all requirement listed on the blackberry app for entune. Does anyone have a number I can call? If I can not get the entune to work with my phone, I will just buy a level 2.
Dump the blackberry, get an iPhone or Android phone. My company is actually shutting down the blackberry server in favor of putting us on our choice of iPhone or Android. On the other hand, from what I've used so far, engine is not a reason to buy one trim over another.
Wish I could dump the Blackberry.. Unfortunately my company is still pushing them hard and won't even allow any other phone to connect to their email servers. Very annoying. Of course my old 9700 Bold died a couple of months ago, so I needed to upgrade. 9810 seemed like the right choice, but unfortunately not for Entune... Aside from that I do like the phone.. I highly doubt that the Entune app (since it works on OS6 / 9800 torch) isn't compatible with OS7. Many OS6 apps work just fine on OS7. So if anyone knows of a way to push the app onto OS7, bypassing the OS check, that would be great!
I know that it will never happen now that HP effectively killed webOS... but I really wish there was an Entune app for webOS. I love my HP Veer and want it to work fully with the Entune system rather than just voice and audio.
Good news, I updated my blackberry os to 6.0.0.600 Entune installed with no problem. So the info on the install website is wrong (which says entune is support on os 5.0.0 and above), I guess it should be entune is only supported on os 6.0.0 and above Any one else have the same problem should try to update their blackberry os to 6.0.0 and try to install the entune again.
