removing rear wiper assembly

It really is a useless item since I have more visibility through the lower glass pane.
I would additionally like to know of any "cap" that can be inserted in the resulting hole.

 

Huh? I've never heard of this request. It's not an eyesore and even if you don't use it for rain it can be most helpful with light snow. Also, maybe because I'm taller but I use the upper window area more than the lower.

It does look much cleaner without that @*#%!! useless rear wiper.

If 'my' G3 were MY G3 (instead of a company car) I'd delete it before lunch just to see if it improves rear visability.

on a C, here's how it looks. I am happy, never use that thing.

 

I refer to the Prius rear wiper as "the skylight wiper" and rarely use it.

I do use the rear wiper often on another of my vehicles since wiper is large and the rear glass is near vertical. The the latter is obviously not so good in terms of aerodynamic drag.
