I finally got my new 2011 Prius II! Color: Charcoal Grey/ Grey interior Options: Bluetooth and the "Prius sticker on the rear bumper" Price: $23,500 before taxes and $25,600 after taxes and fees Location: SoCal I qualified for the 2.9% 60 month plan. How do you guys think I did? I went to two dealerships and this was the best I could get after spending 6 hours in 2 places. We don't normally have as many incentives in SoCal even when compared to NorCal, etc. Normally if you take their incentive financing, you give up something like an incentive discount or a cash back bonus. I think with some finagling you can get both but I wasn't able to get both incentive discount and incentive financing on mine.
I got it at Elmore Toyota in Westminster. I initially went to them because of their service department. I used to have the gen II and got all my maintenance and oil change there. Can't beat $20 oil changes! I wanted a base prius with no options but all they had was one with bluetooth and the "prius decal" in the back. I think it ultimately saved me money, because I was planning to get the Rosen headunit but now I don't really see the need for it when I have my phone for navigation and bluetooth as a factory add on. RIGHT when I brought the car home, I found out that my center console was defective. It wouldn't slide all the way forward. I took it back in today and they have to order me a new center arm rest console. I love it so far. Excited. I'm planning to get HID's, Fog lights, and a subwoofer. ASAP So if you guys know of any good deals. let me know! Thanks
Welcome! There's always going to be someone who paid less than you, and some more. Don't sweat it and enjoy your new ride! Good point that some prices are lower because buyers took the money incentive over the financing incentive. I'd love to get the fog light kit, too. I'm hoping Santa's elves will make them magically appear one special morning.
