About to buy a prius ii with blue tooth for $25,600, is this a good deal? I had to pay a bit more though for the white ( guess it is in high demand). Also this is in socal.
Whoops... I should've read your post more carefully or maybe you changed it after I posted. I've never met Dianne Whitmire, but I've heard of good experiences w/her. She was advertising lower prices than what you're stating but not in the colors you want: http://priuschat.com/forums/dealers...pecial-incentive-lease-rates.html#post1401338. BTW, you posted in the wrong area. Gen II ended w/model year 2009.
I just picked up my brand new blizzard pearl level 4, with Solar and Nav package, tinted widows, and theft protection for 29'800! I think I stole it! Great deal I am very happy!!
Gen 2 ended with 2009, but the Gen III Prius II (as opposed to model II, IV or V) started in 2010 MY. [This model designation may have been later changed to Prius Two (Three, Four, Five).] Here is a Gen II Prius II: http://www.toyota.com/prius-hybrid/
The white (Bliizzrad Pearl) paintjob is special or multi-layered, I believe, which accounts for the extra price. In Florida or any other sunny, hot climate..it is worth it.
We picked up a Prius II Blizzard Pearl, with bluetooth and rear bumper applique for $23,071 this past Friday. I spoke with Dianne and she was wonderful to talk to, but unfortunately we couldn't make the drive up to Carson Toyota. Regardless, our dealer here came down a bit and we settled on $23,071. After trade in, our OTD was $18,355. Blizzard Pearl is amazing color. Good luck!
When I was looking for my Prius II base model most dealership did not carry the base model, all of them came with bluetooth and the Prius bumper sticker. Some Dealership would only purchase these models with these options in order to make us pay more. I did not want neither of these options so finding a dealership that carries the base model was hard. But apparently large volume delership like Hollywood and Santa Monica had lots of base models that way you have room to negotiate. There were 2 dealership that was the worst, Longo and Wonderies, bait and switch tatics. Needless to say I bought my Base II model for $22,533.74 + tax and license in Sol Cal.
