Change Startup Screen & Calendar?

Hi Hugo... and WELCOME to a superior source of Prius information.

I have been on PriusChat for over a year and never seen any hint that you could change the MFD (Multifunction Display) signon screen. You might want to search the site on "MFD"

Suggestion: Go to "Control Panel" on the "Navigation Window" (upper left) - Select "Control Panel" - then enter your profile information. It is always helpful when responding to a question to know where you are geographically. You can also enter a "Signature" and enable it and post an avatar (favorite photo edited to the correct size) if you want.

 

The calendar allows you to put in a memo on a date, including a destination. When you start the Prius on that date, it will tell you that there's a memo for you and gives you a button to push. When you do it will show you the memo. I don't think you can sync it with anything. I keep stuff in there that I would forget (like taking old car batteries in to recycle in January).

I forget the pages, but the manual shows what you can do with that.

With the satellite nav system, I'm not sure why they wouldn't do satellite date & time. And satellite weather, for that matter. At least that might make a nice option.

 

Actually I think they do. The calendar didn't need to be set up and there's a set up screen that has GMT.
