Roof and Hood Wrap Color Opinion Needed

    I have a 2005 Prius in Tideland Pearl. I have some paint issues on the roof and the hood is all rock chipped to hell so I am considering wrapping them in vinyl. I have a choice between glossy black or matte silver. Which would look better?

    I know I'll probably have to replace the vinyl in a few years but it would be cheaper to do the wrap than to repaint.

    Its hard to visualize but my vote strongly favors the matte silver. Less contrasting than the black and I'm a big silver & chrome fan.

    Why don't you (or someone who can help) get on Photoshop and do some mock-ups? That's what I`m doing right now with my spectra-blue-mica (who makes up these crappy names?) Prius, as I`m testing out some vinyl designs to go over the front end/bonnet/sides.

    If we could upload images here from the pc I`d show you.

    EDIT:

    Ignore the thing being off-centre and not tidy.. it was just to give the printing place an idea of what I mean.

    You could also buy some carbon-fibre and wrap those area's with that. I've seen plenty of it on ebay.
