Toyota Global Design Chief: 'We are going to be more dynamic'

    I had no idea he was the chief designer for the 2nd generation Prius. That would explain the radical design compared to the 1st generation Prius.

    Could someone please explain to me what the phrase 'too friendly' means with regards to anything?

    Article says he was the chief designer of the 2nd gen Prius, not the chief engineer. There's a big difference. But, no, I didn't know that about him either. Interesting...

    To his credit, although even though I admit the Prius is a bit funny looking, I think he did pretty well w/the Prius in terms of stirring up emotion, both good and bad (esp. from haters/anti-hybrid folks).

    While digging around, apparently, he's the same guy who spoke at http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...my-prius-changes-additions-6.html#post1386969.
