Hi been meaning to say Hi for a few weeks now, just never got around to it. The timing chain on my 1998 two litre nissan primera snapped meaning I had to get a new car. I had wanted to wait 'till I could afford a 2010 model, however circumstances forced my hand so I settled for a 2008 T'Spirit. I've had it for a few weeks now and am very happy with it, However I did have a shock when I went to transfer the insurance. The insurance on my Prius is more than twice that of my Primera :faint: , is it just hat Prius drivers have more accidents then anyone else because they are too busy hyper miling to look at the road Anyway apart from that, and the fact that my 12v battery says 12.0v after a day of inactivity, I'm very happy. and how come there's no uk smiley anyway have fun Steve
Welcome aboard Steve. Surprised your insurance was so high but it is a newer vehicle, plus repairs tend to be higher.
my insurance was about the same as my ford taurus when i traded it in on my first prius. what is a uk smiley?
Yep that's what I meant hopefully when I go to renew my insurance I'll be able to find someone cheaper..
Welcome to PC and congrats on your new purchase. My insurance went up slightly over my 1996 Jeep GC but only due to the increase in value of the car. The collision part went up but the liability part actually went down slightly.
