Just sold my 2010 Prius - Bought a new set of Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires to use instead of the original Bridgestone Ecopica's , they have ONLY 2 K miles , like new condition.Prefer local pickup or possible meet in New England area. these Mud & Snow rated tires were rock solid in the snow compared to the summer tread of the Ecopias. They are mounted & balanced , but do not have TPMS sensors. REDUCED PRICE TO $525
re: 2010 Prius Alloys & Great M&S / MPG Tires $575 As I stated in ad they are the high gas mileage M&S Rated Goodyear Assurance Fuel Max tires their tread was much better in snow than the Ecopias my car came with.
re: 2010 Prius Alloys & Great M&S / MPG Tires $575 I asked the question because your title sounded like these are dedicated winter tires.
re: 2010 Prius Alloys & Great M&S / MPG Tires $575 Yes ,you are right ,I should have said Great M&S & MPG Tires maybe I will delete and re -post it , sorry to mis lead anybody.
The tire manufacturers, and industry regulators I guess, are responsible for some confusion with the "M+S" label. As far as I know, it's on any all-season rated tire. Back a few years I can recall looking at our all-seasons, seeing the M+S logo and thinking they were snows. Maybe it should stand for: Mash it and you'll Slip. Dedicated Snow tires will also have the mountain-and-snow flake symbol. Judging from that icon, it means you can drive up Everest.
