I'm looking for a set of 15" Prius wheels for my winter tires. I would rather not waste time mounting/unmounting them twice a year. I would prefer TPMS. but could live without it if I had to. Willing to meet/drive within a reasonable distance from Chicago. Thanks!
I live in Oklahoma but I have a set I would be willing to part with. How much are you looking to spend? Of course shipping would have to be tacked on, of which I have no clue on cost currently but would find out if you are interested. TPMS is not included.
thanks for the reply. I don't think it would be worth it with shipping, but you can look into it because the wheels are pretty light. I'm not looking to spend more than $150.
Your not going to find any rims for that kind of price. I suggest you look into a wrecking yard and buy some steel Corolla 15 inch rims.
Not OEM, but try tirerack.com for steel wheels. I think the cost for 4 is $204.00 and then around $50 for shipping. Steel wheels with hubcaps are fine for the winter. Happy motoring.
Try this link to get the part number for Toyota Steel Wheels should you want OEM. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...oubleshooting/96932-winter-tire-question.html The last post in that thread has the info.
As close as you are to South Bend I'd check out Tire Rack. A few weeks ago they had some as low as $65 each for new alloy rims that look nice. As far as TPMS, you can get them about the lowest cost from Rock Auto. I put rims from two yards off of 2009 models and stuck new studded snows on them for the MILD winter. All of my dailey drivers get studded snows, illegal in IL though. The 09 rims were $95 each from the two yards and had good TPMS on them. It was the cheaper route to take compared to new Tire Rack rims and new sensors.
I have 3 take off 15" OEM wheels. I'll sell all three for $150 plus shipping. Wife ruined one wheel bought 4 new Aluminum to replace. Just sitting in the garage. I'll include slightly scratched Hubcap no extra charge.
