can someone please help i had coolant leak under inverter removed inverter to find and fix leak now car has triangle and mfd just says problem and thats it it won't start and won't go into gear just park and neutral.don't know what happened seemed to be a fairly simple task.
Hi William. Did you disconnect the orange HV link at the rear of the traction battery to disable it while you were working on the inverter? If so then you probably didn't re-install the link correctly. I haven't personally done it, but we get a lot of people with similar problems after re-installing that orange switch. There's a simple little trick to it, I'm sure if you search here you'll find the trick. Or someone who knows the "trick" will soon chime in and help you out.
If the above doesn't help, carefully check the wiring harness for the inverter. It's likely that you loosened a connection moving the inverter. Tom
i wasn't sure at first i just knew that it was leaking on the inverter side.once i had inverter out so i could see i traced it to the small coolant line on front of inverter. i bought the car back in july with a salvage title.wrecked in the front.it actually was where the front had gotten pushed back and damaged the small hose and the bleeder bracket the nipple got pushed down and was leaking around nipple and small hole in hose. i put on new hose and i didn't like the bleeder bracket so i got a foot longer hose and quarter inch nipple went to lowes and bought a ice maker water shut off valve and made a new one so that i can pull it out away from car and open valve on the ground
