I am selling a 2010 Toyota Prius II with approximately 19,000 miles. Car is in Excellent condition, has clean title, no defects, no Damage, no Accidents and Car has the Toyota Certified Platinum Warranty. This warranty is the extended warranty from Toyota that goes beyond the standard warranty you normally get at the dealer and costs approximate $1500 extra at the dealer. It gives you Bumper to Bumper coverage at ANY Toyota Dealer for 100,000 miles or 7 years (2017 for this car). If you are interested in purchasing the Car please Call or Text me at (201) 293-7319 or reply to this email. Price is FIRM and will not consider anything lower then this price, so feel free to contact me if you are interested in buying. Thanks. Asking $19.75k. --Price Updated 09/01/11
So I gather part of the reason for the high price is because you did not buy the warranty at a decent price, like $1,000 here through PriusChat ? Looking forward to your next, lower, *firm price*
Yea. I Purchased the Warranty through the dealer. However I just looked at my purchase price and I had thought I had spent more on the car than I thought so that does mean I will lower the price. Price updated. Personally though I don't believe I will sell any lower then the new price.. Thanks
Cool. Two more updates to go, and I think you will have interest Just a guess, I don't think you have time on your side. Toyota Prius production is ramping up, fuel prices have stabilized so the American anxiety of high(er) fuel costs has abated for now, and historically Prius prices in the US are lower in the winter. You are also swimming upstream trying to sell a black car (smaller market), and the x-section of people who can buy your used car with cash and want an expensive warranty is an even smaller market. Unless you are happy to hold on to the car until next spring to try and sell at the top dollar going rate then, you may want to reconsider your inflexible price attitude.
Dianne was offering new 2011 Prius Two's last week for $22,999. Add $1,000 for the extended warranty and $24k buys brand new similarly equipped.
wait, I thought "Toyota Certified" was their used, sorry, pre-owned, program? So will this be the third time this 2010 car is sold?
Where are you on price these days? Pm if you wish. I'm in the market again but I'd pay closer to trade in value.
