After almost 2 months, and 4-5 visits to the dealer, I finally ordered my Prius II, no options, $500 off MSRP with Costco discount.
Thanks! Probably in my driveway I was going to do it myself, same for everything else execpt the maintenance...it's free for 2 years from the dealer.
Thank you! They said they couldn't use the "locator" because it's Saturday, so they won't have an ETA until Monday. I'm sure it will be before the end of the week.
Hi there...I had questions but didn't feel like playing phone tag. Also I wasn't ready to buy. Many times I had to keep myself from going there "just because I was nearby" lol to see if they had any new stock.
So to condense a long story, the salesman told his manager "grey" and not "DARK grey" so they ended up with a Prius II with LIGHT-freaking-grey interior, but the "wear points" like the armrest and the floor mats were still dark grey. Yuck. :-\ I ended up buying a Prius III they already had in stock, with JBL, nav, and backup camera. More than I wanted to spend, but not much more than the II, and it was dark grey inside/out
Congrats. I agree that the dark gray is superior to the light gray. I was disappointed that the cargo area is light gray no matter what.
No no no, according to the salesman, light gray is the "most popular" interior color However, I do agree with his assessment of the "old man tan" lol
Bummer! The JBL is ok would like the Alpine cda-117 better. The NAV is nice to have? I seem to use my Iphone more for maps!
Yeah, the nav is nice, you can switch to other screens while you're in a phone call. However, it treats my iphone 4 as two separate devices...Bluetooth phone and Bluetooth media player. I had to disconnect from the music side for it to download my contacts, for example. Only thing I would add is 3D mapping. I haven't been near a major city to use the live traffic. I agree, the Alpine sounded awesome feeding a PDX-4.100 (sold) because of the 24-bit DAC. The JBL is "okay" if you turn the treble down two notches, or set the fader to the rear two notches. There's too much highs in the front, and almost none in the rear (that can be heard from the front seat anyway). But it does bump, and vibrate the mirrors enough to impair rearward vision
Thanks man! I just got the LED interior lights installed (and in the headlights) and I've been working on the auto dimming mirror.
