For rear must remove interior panel and tap wire to vanity plate light For front also need to remove some plastic panels located at core support but some owner prefer to remove whole front bumper. Wire is run from position lights. New emblem and LED is pre-pack from manufacture. So technically replace old emblem to new emblem and run wire.
So before leaving to Shanghai. I left my car at shop who happen to be order my car. They take my car to Toyota for speed meter panel repair. Then tint rear window for 40% dark and apply high impact resistant film at from triangle window. Due to high Navigation theft in our area my insurance company demand to install high impact resistant film at from triangle window. Toyota knows this design error and they have to fix it!!! If people did know about this. In Japan thieves brake there triangle widow to access interior lock knobs. Thanks! I am in Shanghai now and I can not wait going to Japan again! So far my car survived from yesterday Typhoon according to the shop manger who take care my car right now. And this week they will take my car to tint shop. I already ordered fake wood trim I love Japan so may accessories which able to personalize own Prius! Next plan is LED's! and Vanity plate locks
