electric chair

    I seriously want to buy the Prius v when it is available, but I need to know if I can attach a lift for my Jazzy electric chair to the back. Anyone know how I can find this information?

    At a minimum, no Jazzy chair seemed to be under 160 lbs, so it is unlikely the Prius V will be rated for a Jazzy. At 350 lbs of capacity the Highlander Hybrid is perhaps a better fit. The existing Prius and Camry Hybrid are not rated to carry any chair.

    Great advice. I have a Highlander Hybrid set aside for me to pick up this week.

    I love my Prius and in general think 'everyone' should drive one, but I am not so blinded that I can't see that there are reasons we don't all drive the same car.

    I hope your HyHi works for you as well as mu Prius works for me!

    The OP is hoping to take their electric chair on the road behind their car, the Prius is not the right vehicle for this. (I predict, but do not know, that the Prius v is not right either)

    You know, THOSE come in hybrid version too. ;)
    But yea, the lifts do accomodate the highlander.
