I know it's Thanksgiving so traffic will probably be light on PC over the next couple of days, but I wanted to let everyone know that today is PriusChat's 2 year anniversary! This has been a very exciting 2 years for me, and it's been a great learning experience running this site. I've made a lot of great friends through the site, and appreciate all of your support over the last 2 years. We've had a few server and software problems along the way, but all in all this has been a great ride so far. I'd like to thank all of you as members of PC for being a part of this site. Without all of you, this wouldn't even be a site. Growth was the name of the game between year 1 and 2, and between year 2 and 3, I'm going to focus more on site features and user experience. I'll also be finally getting my Prius this spring so I can't wait to be able to have the full Prius experience and be able to join in more on the great discussions held on this site. What started out as an idea I came up with one night while I was bored in front of my computer has turned into a 10,000+ member strong website. Thanks again for the last 2 years - I look forward to at least the next 20 more! Danny
Thanks for all you've done, even though I'm relatively new here. The surging growth of the site is tesatament to how well you've run it. It's truly a multi-dimensional site where people seem to be comfortable, even with (perfectly normal) philosophical differences, as well as a place where folks can get---and give---reliable info. Can't ask for more than that.

Thanks for starting PriusChat, Danny. It's your good work, but mostly the members that make PriusChat special. I'd also like to thank the tireless moderators. PriusChat is all of us, but without you, Danny, we wouldn't be here.
Thanks Danny.... Besides being an awesome resource to study the Prius and become educated.... it has provided resources that have educated myself and so many others about issues surrounding and supporting the fundamental ideals and philosophys of our planet, our relationships with each other and issues of basic survival in a world of unsure dog eat dog economic turmoils. Besides all that... you have really put a spirit of excellence into this site!... It's only a reflection of your character! Though I have not spent time on mulitple forums.... this forum is the easiest to traverse and understand I have ever found. Especially with the "assistant" you have provided, it makes it so easy to stay on top of replying to our posts. thanks for you efforts.... one heck of a job! I hope Toyota recognizes the asset you have been to thier company!... I for one.. would not have bought a Prius without the information and education I have obtained through your forum.
Man, that time has flown by. I shudder to think how many hours I've spent on this board since its earliest encarnation. Thanks a million Danny, it's like a home in a way.
Newer person here - Danny congratulations on your achievement. Not only did you create a great site, but the people that you "attracted" onto it - senior posters, moderators, newbies, are really super. I look forward to this next year

Danny, I say thanks for such a great site. You are correct that the members make it great and it makes me want to thank everyone who contributes to this forum. We don't always agree, but we all learn from our experiences. Additionally, I want to advise you to stay away from my wife. Since I joined a year and six months ago, my addiction has grown stronger. My wife thinks of you as the dealer who sold me the addictive drugs and keeps me strung out. Also, when you get your Prius, I know this great site with some really good advice. . .

Thank you Danny for PC. I was a lurker at the start but soon realized that I could be part of your family. I would also like to thank the moderators that you have had and still have, Evan, Tag, Wolfman, that crank Tony and probably others that I've forgotten (sorry) but they have been a good part of the family. Civility reigns most times and when it doesn't they handle the problem. Your good work is recognized by all. Thanks again.

Congratulations Danny! I have been here almost a year, so I missed out on a good solid year of Prius posting, but it sure has been a good time so far. Like Evan, I'm kind of scared to know how many hours I've been hear, reading, writing, etc. I wish you the best in the coming year.

I have been reading this site for a couple of months now. I find that it is one of the most informative sites that I have continued reading. I am ordering my 06 Monday, and this site is a big reason for that.
