Never thought I'd be buying a Prius. I'm in outside sales and drive 3000 miles a month and the 20.5 mpg on my Dodge Journey wasn't cutting it anymore (love that car with AWD but it's going to be my wife's car for driving baby and dog around). I just put a deposit down on a winter gray metallic Prius III last night and should be picking it up by Sept 10. I'm pretty excited!
At 3,000 miles per month you will definitely be pleased about the gas savings, but I hope you enjoy the car for more than that.
Yes, I was very impressed with the amount of space and was sold on the test drive. I'm 6'2" and slid drivers seat all the way rearward. Then I got out band sat behind that seat. I wouldn't want to ride there for a 4 hour road trip, but it was comfortable enough for a half hour jaunt.
Welcome To PriusChat . I remember the excitement waiting for my 2007 Prius to come in. Every month since than I remain excited with all the features of this wonderful car. But Best Of All The Gas Savings, I get 56 MPG for the last 4 years. I hope you enjoy your new baby as much as I do mine.

I do need help on one thing. I need to take those wheel covers off. Where can I find some caps to hide the center of the wheel?
Welcome! I drive about 27K a year and am also looking forward to my Three to arrive and lower my fuel bill. As for the caps, do a quick search. There are ones available from the Toyota dealer and someone found that a certain breaker box filler plug will fit.
Lowe's for center caps, there is a thread here that will give you the part number. The caps are designed for electrical boxes, but fit the car. Cost about $2 for four.
Go to Ebay, and do a search on 2010 Prius, you should be able to get them for about $10 for the set, shipping included from China!, check the posting carefully, because some of the sellers charge extra for shipping, while some do not, but they have the Toyota emblem on them, and are chromed plastic, look great, especially for what they cost!
One more from the land of Lincoln congrats. I have the same prius only in blue and came from an all wheel drive vehicle that got 22 mpg. ENJOY the forum and your prius.
Drove mine tonight. Showed up at my dealer today. I'm getting window tint and a clear bra before delivery. Was fun to see my new car. Looks like I'll get it Thursday or Friday. iPhone ?
Got my Prius Three tonight. Winter Gray Metallic, 20% tint all around. 3M Paint protection film on most of the front end. The thing looks really great. Got to drive it about 68 miles tonight and averaged 55.6 mpg on the display. I can sure get used to this! --John
