So who is your team and why? I will not root for any teams from Texas or Michigan or Florida....cause ex girlfriends have came from them states and each broke my heart in their own way. So being a grownup I hate those states Notre Dame....since I was at one time catholic Cal Bears.....since it is sorta close :cheer2:
Go Huskers! If you grow up there its in your blood, probably because there's not too much else to get excited about...
Navy - so what are the chances this year they shock the country and go undefeated? Would need to beat two ranked teams, which is actually doable. They get up for the bigger games, especially Notre Dame. The challenge is to play well against the softer teams. If undefeated, what are the chances they are invited to a BCS bowl?
Any thoughts about Texas A&M? Some of my best friends are Aggies, and some wonder why I did not go. The big buzz in Aggie land is not their football team but bolting the Big 12 for the SEC. The logic of jumping before the Big 12 falls apart and having a better chance of getting into a good conference makes some sense. But the Aggies are frustrated of being second fiddle to the Longhorns and Sooners...if they join the SEC, they go from playing a couple of football superpowers to about five. In the big picture, TV drives the revenue, revenue comes from a good athletic program, and conferences are being consolidated for TV ratings.
North Carolina State - where I went to school and got my EE degree. Yep, the ones that just released Russel Wilson to go to Wisconsin. He was also playing minor league baseball and would not commit to spring football practice. I wish him well at Wisconsin.
Get your own thread My college shocked the football world and beat the Oregon Beavers, and at one time were up by 15 points
Arkansas Razorbacks! Grew up in Arkansas cheering for them, went to college in Fayetteville...how could I note cheer for them?!
I was an Air Force brat... so I never had "A" town... But I have always liked USC... Never went there for schooling... but still... I have always like their team for football. My Mom is a Notre Dame fan... My Dad didn't think college boys were worth watching or betting on... I agree. Still... I like USC...
Cal Bears are my team. They're traditionally mediocre at best, but they did put a licking on trebuchet's team this weekend.
Congrats on the OT 2 point conversion to beat the beavs. Unfortunately, Cal will lose to both the beavs and the trojan scum like they do year after year. The bears play the buffs this weekend which hopefully results in a victory.
