Is there a place to buy a cubby subwoofer/enclosure?

    Will try to fight with rattles...I will do some sound deadening job also. I do not need a loud bass but rather all notes properly played on low-to-mid level.

    There is another way to get rid of rattles.. just put the volume on max and you won't hear any rattles :D

    Thank you very much, Tim.

    I like the carpet color - it matches the interior but it is not too dark.

    I'll post more pictures with Hertz HX 250D installed once I put them together.

    Being that I believe I was the first one to install Hertz speakers I think it qualifies me to comment on this one. I absolutely live them. I had never heard of them up until I installed my system an can honestly say after having Focal, OZ Audio, Diamond, and a few other brands over the years that these speakers are a work of art. The sub performs beautifully in a very small space. If you do a little research you'll see that there are a decent amount of people that have followed along with running alot of the same stuff that I am and are very happy. I really don't think beyond spending a fortune even beyon what I've got invested, I really don't think there is anything in Hertz's price range that compares. Hope this helps.

    the recess ring was 3mm too narrow for the Hertz. So, he shipped it back, I made it a bit bigger, and shipped it back this afternoon.

    Estimated delivery date is set for Thursday so hopefully I can share some pictures this weekend. As Tim said, the recess ring was just few mm smaller than required to fit the subwoofer driver, and I've tried both Hertz and 10W3. The latter would fit only if the rubber ring around the speaker is removed but then I can't mount the mesh grille.

    I'll post more comments once I have it again :)

    Here we are.... some photos. I spent some time filling the enclosure with 1 pack of Acousta-Stuf polyfill fiber I purchased from Amazion. Then I tried 10W3 and it fits just as well as Hertz, but since the price is comparable, Hertz is a ultimate winner.

    All add more pictures soon once I have the subwoofer in the car. I will not be able to hear it until the end of next week as I am going to do a sound deadening, front and rear speakers and amplifier install during the week.
