Well now we'll see- just heard back from the dealer who is quoting me a different price than True Car- so let's see how this plays out! ha
Awesome. Keep me updated please. BTW, temecula has it for 22.6 on true car and if that includes fees, you are right where you want to be. Throw in an extra discount for the two of us, and we are golden!
Truecar has it at 22.3k right now, w $200 gift card of some sort if I do it by 09/05 I just don't know how much longer I can hold out!!!
So jealous here on the east coast.....lowest price is still hovering at $24,500......need to buy a ticket to Cali.
I have been getting quotes on 2011 Prius V with navi and ATP and they are below dealer cost in San Diego. For a V with navi they are selling them for $29,500. For the ATP model they are selling for $32,000. Cali supply is high and will only get higher. The 2012s are around the corner. I would wait it out a bit if I were in the market. They might have a $1,000 rebate maybe next month or soon to clear inventory. You could get an even better price.
San Diego prices are about $800 cheaper (vs Los angeles). Totally worth a two hour drive to beautiful San Diego. I'm going to give it some more time.
Yep, mine I bought at Toyota Carlsbad for $800 off MSRP. I tried few dealers in LA but they would not budge much. So they lost my business. Just avoid Mossy Toyota, they are fishy there and rude. Also be careful of any dealers trying to overprice the Platinum Warranty. Much better deal buy from the guys that sponsor this forum.
I am in the same boat as you guys. Looking for a really good deal and 22 sounds perfect. The problem I have is should I wait until the 2012's get released? Or jump on something now? ahh!
Well, I have been in the market since July. I have seen prices go down each week as production picks up. I will most likely buy in Sept. If you can wait, I would certainly wait until at least labor day. When are 12s getting released anyway?
Rumors are the 12s will be produced in December and be available in Feb. Found in this thread. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii...my-prius-changes-additions-4.html#post1380510 Others say maybe November. All i really want is the confirmed specs and pricing so I can make an informed decision. I would hate to think I got a great deal on a 2011 only to find out the 2012 had so much more for around the same price....
She's in LA and not San Diego. She could not beat the quote from Toyota Carlsbad. But nice lady nevertheless.
Is 21,500 Unrealistic yet? What are others getting without ttl but including the 815 for shipping. Are there break in issues that would make a cc trip with cruise control bad. Thank you for your input.
21.5 is my dream price. The lowest in socal is in sd for 22.3k. I was waiting for some better deals this labor day weekend, but sd has had it for 22.3 for two weeks now
Re: Pricing-one question I am hoping to buy a 2011 in the next month and learned so much from the PriusChat members! I do have one question though, about the prices mentioned here. I've read the last year or so of posts and just want to confirm that the prices that I'm seeing mentioned above are inclusive except for "smallish" costs like documentation fees. (and of course taxes, title, registration). There aren't any huge tack-ons such as additional advertising or something of that nature, right? I have done the truecar pricing to see what the norm is locally and I'm seeing anything from $799 to $1000 above the dealer's invoice. The California prices amaze me, so I wanted to make sure that I'm comparing apples to apples. Thanks so much in advance.
About labor day. A dealer in CA mentioned there will be more incentives by September 6. They wouldn't mention what incentives but does anyone want to spill the beans
