there is a lot of FAQ items you should probably look through. 1st. read your owners manuals... all of them. they'll tell you a lot of helpful stuff that could ease your frustration down the road. 2nd. jot down a keyword or two regarding a question you may have into the priuschat custom search on the top right hand side of priuschat while you're in a forum, (not sure if it's available on main page) 3rd. browse priuschat. some go through the forums, others grab new topics off the main page. there is also a backlog of recent post. if you're on an smartphone, there are reader apps that work with priuschat. 4th... only if none of that works... create a post and ask. a lot of members have a lot of answers on here. 5th. welcome to priuschat.
Yeah it's the maplights (hence the 3 dots on the cover). As HI MPG states, it's on non SR models. Those with the Solar Roof will have a different overhead design with an actual maplight button separate from the lighting.
The different styles are actually dependent on whether the car has the Safety Connect system or not - so my V has the same design with separate buttons for the map lights. Looks like that currently means that any Four or Five with the Nav package (and maybe the Three too - the Toyota website is inconsistent with itself whether the Three's Nav system has Safety Connect) should have the buttons.
I accidentally hit the light/switch with my head. -- A head operated switch. What will they think of next??? Keith
Did you know the horn sounds if you press the area in the middle of the steering wheel? If not check the owners manual.
lol Roy... i was tempted to post a similar comment... only because i saw a ("radio did you know" forum)
Did you know that if you crash your Prius into a brick wall a lot of bags will pop out all over the place?
Speaking from experience, those bags aren't nearly as comfy as they look. They're really hard and hurt when they hit you, but hey I guess it beats your head meeting any other part of your car.
To Jetboy - the OP of this Thread. Apparently you're new here and your posting was honest and trying to be helpful. Some of the responses sure might seem as biting and negative - but consider them as friendly bantering. As if you were out for a couple beers with buddies and they were joking with you about a topic you brought up. (Almost) All of us are friends here and appreciate input, but sometimes we may need to have a bit of fun too. Don't take it personally and enjoy your ride.
Well said Dean. OP, I have the push on lights as well. It beats scratching for a small switch in the dark.
