Re: Why I love my Prius Why do i love my car? 1. I can fit just about anything in it. Once had 10 days of camping gear, 2 dogs, me and my wife, packed in and still had tons of room. 2. Lots of real estate for stickers. I can put stickers all over the outside back windows without impeding my view!! My fav sticker you ask? the NRA emblem tactfully placed next to "Back Off Jack!" 3. My ability to effectively "floor it" and still manage to get 42 mpg. HAHA 4. Seating position. I love how the seating position places me just about off center from everything in the car. (ok just a little sarcasm there haha) 5. Love the look friends give me when 5 of us pack into the car and everyone has room to sit comfortably!! 6. Love the fact that i can put 21,000 miles a year on the car and know that "heck, it is a Toyota! There's no need to fear!"
* love my Prius for garage space saving I replaced my Lincoln SUV with Toyota Prius. Now I actually have room to move around in my garage, it's like losing 30 lbs of weight, if you know what I'm talking.
I love the fact that I am doing my, albeit small, part for the environment and reduction of oil consumption I love my Prius for being able to "just drive the car" with AC and all and still average 48 mpg. I love the technology features of the car, my wife calls it my spaceship. I love fitting my 6'5", 300 lb., football coach, son-in-law in the back seat and him telling me that I do not need to slide my seat forward because he has plenty of leg room! I love the cargo space and being able to fit a two-piece Sears tool chest with room to spare, much to the amazement of the guy that loaded it. I love the interior quietness of the car with the engine off - very relaxing even in rush hour traffic. I love learning more every day about the engineering that went in to the design of the HSD.
I love my Pirus almost as much as I love my sepll chekcer. The feature is here for everyone to use. I wish more people would.

I love my Prius because: I can fit all kinds of crazy stuff in it due to the cavernous interior and kamback design. See pics below.. It gets excellent fuel economy and saves me a bunch of money with my long commute It actually looks pretty cool once you add a few mods The techy features make the driving experience more fun since you can't really race it or enjoy gobs of HP like other cars I know I am producing much less emissions than nearly any other gasoline or diesel fueled vehicle Because I have an excuse to spend time at PriusChat.com and make some pretty good friends
Detroit during the big auto show. Approximately 40 PriusChat members were flown out to Detroit for a special unveiling of the 2010 prius. We attended a private venue where they showcased 3 models of the new 2010 GenIII Prius, accompanied by 3 pretty attractive models although I won't mention their ages. The Japanese guy in the middle was the chief engineer, Akihiko Otsuka. There were other Toyota employees there to answer our questions and obtain feedback about the car from us.
