Motivated by EnerJazz (http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-prius-main-forum/96709-7-years-prius-data.html), I decided to compile my seven years of Prius temperatures and mileage logs. With 172 unique data points, I decided to break them into years. So you will see the individual data points, colored by year, and a trend line for each year.
It kinda looks like a rainbow bumper sticker. I'm still amazed you get such high mpg numbers despite your harsh winters.
Still can't average 60mpg... Every time I do, something comes up and my mileage drop (e.g. trip to the airport and trust me, you don't want to do less than the speed limit on that highway)
There are some anomalies that skew some things. For example, I average 55 - 60 mpg pretty consistently on highways and interstates. The high mileage on the cold day was one day of total highway driving heading to my parents' house for Christmas. So even though it was cold, the mileage seemed high. It works the other way, also; the low mileage on the warm days represent highway driving.
