You mean what type or brand? You can't go wrong with Apple iPod. It's pretty much the standard among digital music. Any and all accessories you'll find for mp3 are for iPod. The iTunes Library is easy to download music to, and you have a plethora of music to choose from if you want to buy music online. I have the 80GB Classic with over 4,000 songs and it hasn't even taken up 24GB on it. You'd probably be fine with a small Nano. I have a Nano for the Gym, and it works out great. Hope this helps.
I agree with the above. Apple iPod, iPhone or iPad have no equals thus far. Oh, there are a few others selling mp3 players but there is no competition.
