I have about 75K on my Costco Michelin's. I'll need a new set soon. Thing is, I had to replace one about 20K miles back. So do I buy three new tires or get four new ones. The tires at Costco are $128.00 installed. However, they frequently have a $70.00 discount if one buys four tires. No discount on three. I'm leaning to buying the four, and keeping the newest in case I have to replace another tire early due to damage. What say the group?
Agree with you. Replace all 4 tires and keep the good spare as you never know when one might need replacing.
Get 4. It will save you money (if you used the Costco discount on Michelin or Bridgestone) and will eliminate any issues you may have with different tread designs and compound.
