I was on a tour of western Europe and one of the stops was in Lugano. The tour guide said we could look at the high end stores. I decided to look at the "high end" car show that happened to be on display at that time. Oddly enough, no Prius was on display (but the Auris was) as well as the Mitsubishi i-MIEV and this little fella. Click the + in the top left to zoom in if you wanna see the price sheet. And before you ask, no I didn't check to see if the panoramic roof is glass or polycarbonate.
According to the spec sheet on the window, it's 4.5L/100km and 104g/km of CO2. That's about the same as the Gen 2 Prius (4.5 and 105g/km of CO2)
So, it's IMA right? I'm still a little unsure if any H hybrids can cap a parking lot EV run. I sort of doubt it.
Honda Jazz model grades Check out the hybrid option on the above link. You'll notice that the price is £15,995 compared to the Prius at £20,800. You might also notice that the fuel economy is 62.8 mpg compared to the Prius at 72 mpg (both UK mpg's), so the Prius is actually more economical than the Jazz hybrid!
How does the Honda IMA compare? The current Honda hybrids are very close to the 2nd Gen Prius in mpg. That's not bad considering the setup. Thanks! I only saw the Auris Hybrid. The fully loaded models starts at CHF 39k Yep
