I ordered a Prius yesterday in Bangkok and am excited that the local equivalent of Blizzard White will be available in a month. The only negative is the unavailability of the stock 17 inch wheel etc package in Thailand. You are stuck with the stock 15 inch setup. I am now researching after-market wheels and want to know if any of you in Thailand have experience with specific brands you would recommend. And a retailer that can be trusted. On the technical front what is the offset for the 17 inch wheel? And recommendations for an upgraded suspension setup? Thanks, Leo
I don't have the 17" wheels. I just poped off the cheapo plastic wheel covers. the stock mags look good (go to ebay motors and purchase a set of 4 center hole covers for about $22.00).
I was just in BKK yesterday and everybody has Volks or some high end wheels. They are either really cheap or just replicas. But, I am sure it will not be hard to find wheels, just deciding on which ones you want.
Hi Leo You can use any 17 " wheel from Toyota WISH without any problem which you can find used from some tires and wheels shops in Bangkok anyway it should be 5 holes and 100 pcd with 40-45 offset.
