Sounds good, love the idea of an EV Fit. Very practical form factor of a vehicle.

Yes, I believe that vehicles like this will find a home as great run around cars and delivery wagons. Longer range will only help to cement their role, but the current range should not be looked down apon. More please and sooner!

Nice. An EV Fit would be pretty cool. Cheaper than an EV Focus, Leaf or Transit, yet it can be used as a small business delivery vehicle and a cool urban runabout.

You're welcome. I was very interested in the last video where the Pres. of Honda explains the roadmap with the hybrid, plug-in, EV and fuel cell car. President has lot of courage speaking to the press in English when obviously English is his second language, learned as an adult.

Even I might be able to drive this car to work. I drive 48 miles each direction (almost entirely highway). If I can find an EV that gets a true 100 mile range (or even if it's rated 120 and the actual is 100), I could buy one of these! :):):)

Of course, I'm hoping for a Toyota version (and I hope Toyota is reading this), but if Honda and Nissan are the only ones that make viable options then I will have no choice.

** wait, on second thought, if I can charge it at work (I know my employer would let me), I only need 48 miles each way then! YES!!!! :D :D :D
(right now, I'm waiting for the plug-in Prius (gas on highway, EV on city streets), but if Honda can get this Fit into production by the time the plug-in Prius comes out... I just might have a decision to make)

The Fit is a bit smaller car than the Insight. Though roomy inside.
The hybrid Fit should have better gas mileage(>45 mpg) and lower cost (<$18K)than the Insight, or else it won't be an improvement.
My wife considered the Fit when she bought the Insight. It was cheaper, but hard to get in a stick. And the CVT in the Insight is better. The Regular Fit does not have the mpg of the Insight--even a stick.

Interesting to see a b-segment electric. I wonder if it has a higher trunk floor or a Tesla style battery chassis?

Did anyone else have a chuckle at the god-awful Cadillac smart car wannabe that claims 65mpg?

Now that Toyota is selling iQ EV only to fleets, what are the chances of Honda also doing the same with Fit EV. I think high :-(
