On my way to work this morning, I saw this on the freeway. Hyundai emblems and the car driving in front of it was a Hyundai Genesis (both had Michigan license plates). Turning the brightness up on your monitor will help if the images look dark. More images below. From the image of the side window, you can see that the dash is all taped up.
Eeewww, how is that competition for anything? Oh, except maybe the Aztec! Am I right? Don't leave me hangin' bro.... P.S. Why all the body damage on it? (pass. door, front fender, etc)
That's the new Veloster http://www.hyundaiusa.com/vehicles/2011/veloster/experience/features/exterior.aspx
It's pretty strange how the right hand side of that vehicle is all banged up Also this is the 5-door version compared 3-door version shown in the link provided above.
I would be concerned about blind spots. I don't think it looks "horrible" from the side or rear. But, I don't like those front headlight/grill "slits"...IMO makes it look like it has had plastic surgery that went bad. It's not conservative...I'll give it some points for that...
I live in Orange County and I work in San Diego. Along Camp Pendleton, over the years, I've seen dozens of pre-production vehicles being tested. I'm not sure why that's such a popular testing location for the manufacturers, but it is. I have other vehicle pics (Dodge and Mercedes SUVs) that I have taken over the past year, but I didn't really see an SUV as anything exciting on Priuschat.
I thought the same thing. Then I found out that Its really not banged up. Its The new Hyundai "Flow design".
