Anyway to disable this "feature" and make it possible to open the armrest at any time? Wife gets her charging cables jammed in the back blocking ability to slide it all the way back to open it in order to remove the obstruction. Reasoning behind the feature escapes me
Not that I can figure out! I think its made that way for the for EZ access to cup holder!Don't really have a problem with it.I use the top glove box for a lot of stuff,gum mints sunglasses and such! What else does she have in there?

A permanent solution would be ideal. I'm thinking I could figure out a way given some time with it. Hoping someone already has and can tell me how easy it is!
