I'll need tires for my '10 IV. Always have good luck with Goodyear. Choices are Assurance Comfort Tred which are quieter vs Assurance Fuel Max. I'm questioning whether I'll really see an decrease in mileage with the NON FUEL MAX tire. Replacing the factory Avids.

The Assurance Fuel Max are very quiet in my opinion. These are a great FE tire, I can't say enough about then. Hal
Thanks for you replies, BUT does anyone think the Comfort Tred without the Fuel Max cause a lower mpg ?
Yes. If a company's marketing 2 tires, and one's indicated as having Low Rolling Resistance, the other not: it follows that you're going to take a mileage hit with the non-LRR tire. If mileage is important to you, I'd stick with LRR choices. Also, look at what Prius are coming with, ie: what's getting put on at the factory. Those tend to be LRR.
