Re: MotoTrend Prius v test That is nearly exactly what I got in my GenII but it was like 100degrees out. I think my MPH was 78.9. http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-ii-prius-main-forum/23047-took-prius-drag-racing.html
Re: MotoTrend Prius v test To be honest the only # I was interested in is the MT FIGURE EIGHT My Gen III has TRD rear swaybar and Tanabe STB.. it was damp this morning; had a gentle 4-wheel slide through the off-camber downhill turn.
Re: MotoTrend Prius v test While it is probably more the driver than anything those numbers are almost all better than when they tested the 2010. 0-60 10.6 sec 1/4mi [email protected] 60-0 120ft Lateral G .82 MT Figure eight ? Ok here is another which a much sportier driver: 0-60 9.7sec 1/4mi 17.3 @ 82mph 60-0 123ft Lateral G .78 MT figure 8 28.8sec @ .56g Either way they made the same car bigger and heavier and somehow maintained almost every aspect of performance. Bravo.
Re: MotoTrend Prius v test it is 36.1 vs 34.2 for standard Prius 2012 Toyota Prius V Toyota Prius - 2011 Performance & Specifications
Re: MotoTrend Prius v test It sure is nice to see a thread with more facts than FUD. I congratulate you all.
Re: MotoTrend Prius v test hey Jimbo! are you biting the bullet and ordering one soon? or you're gonna wait 'til the prices drop?
Re: MotoTrend Prius v test I plan to keep my current Prius 18 more years. Sadly, random strangers can ruin my plan, so I am watching what car I would replace it with.
I will be getting a v as soon as I can. Since I will be buying form Laurel Toyota (CarMax) it shouldn't be over bottom sticker. I guess it is expected that this weighs 350# more than the Gen III.
