I love how this style of moulding looks and it was so easy to install, my husband and I did it ourselves. Bought them on Ebay.
I really did like the way the car looked without them, but I park in a parking garage every day with the smallest spots known to mankind and my doors would be trashed within a couple months if I didn't have them. So I figured I'd at least get the more stylish ones. I know they won't prevent every ding but they sure will cut down on the tears I will shed.
