I thought the HID lights had a blue tint, mine do not.. I assume they are halogen?

I have the blinking/going out light issue... If toyota thinks I am going to give them $500 for changing a light bulb....

    nope

If your car has fog lights, you have HIDs.

The Toyota HIDs are not particularly bluish.

If you continue to have problems with your HIDs (if you have them) and Toyota won't help you out then I would suggest changing out the stock ballast and bulbs and going with a quality aftermarket kit. They can be purchased for $35-$150 and are fairly easy to install.
