For those who installed one of these, how did you center it? I'm thinking of putting strips of masking tape on the trunk lip, on the bumper just below where the protector lip is, and then on the protector itself in line with the strips on the car. I'll then use a pen to mark the center line on each strip, after which it will just be a matter of lining up the lines. Thoughts?
What I did was this: -Find the center of the bumper protector and mark it with a pencil -Line it up with the little latch for the hatch and mark the bumper with a pencil -Line up the 2 pencil marks and stick it on I just posted a pic of my new plate, but it also shows the bumper protector. You can check that out to see how it turned out.
