So as some of you know I'm buying my dad's 2006 prius. It has 55k miles, fully loaded, very good condition. He would be happy to just give it to me but because of some tax issues with my family he has to charge me a fair price. Are there any records out there of what 2006 priuses have gone for over the years? The number he came up with is $12k. I was wondering if I could find any evidence of a cheaper possibility.
You could try searching ebay for completed auctions. Make sure the cards you find are similarly equipped to what you are purchasing.
On ebay where the search engine you will see advanced press that.type what you want to search where it says enter keyword or item number.Before you push search go down to where it says search including and press the completed listing box.Then push search it will show you what has sold and has not sold in last 30 days.
