I filled up with a non ethanol spiked gasoline yesterday and noticed my MPGs went from 55 to 60 in the first 50 miles. Sure glad we're subsidizing those corn farmers so they can screw up our mileage. :eek:hwell:

Just ended my best tank, with a 75,9 mpg (3.1 l/100 km) average :plane:

This was the first time using "normal mode", instead of "eco mode".
I've found that using normal mode during pulse phase it's easier to keep ICE running at the most efficient rpm (I used 1400-1800 rpm).
The indicated result was about 5-6% more optimistic than the real one:
    1155 km with 37,76 l gives 3.27 l/100km, or 71,9 mpg :flypig:

2011 Prius II, with stock Yoko S33 15" tires. inflated to 39 psi front and 37 psi rear.

i drive 110-120 miles total every day for work. mostly interstate, but to and from the interstate i have a nice long road (approx 5 miles, one way) with little traffic and few redlights. Car has 6000 + miles on the ODO. my last tank was my best, 57.6 mpg while averaging 50 mph on the tank. total mileage on the tank was just over 500 miles. interstate i average 70 - 75 mph, back roads, 45-50 mph.

on an average tank i manage 46-48 mpg, running 75+ on the interstate and 50'ish on the back roads.

extremely pleased with my numbers! love the Prius!

We averaged 99.9 miles per gal on I-5 just past the peak of the grapevine. We drove about 180 miles total for a calculated MPG of 74. I love this car!

On my usual commutes, I get 48-52 mpg...

Picked up my 2010 Prius IV Solar Pkg Monday. So far with 190 miles I put on it I am averaging 53.9 MPG.

I love this car. It was a left over demo. Only one available in Atlanta that I could find without waiting months.

My average mileage since I have my Toyota Auris HSD is 46,5 mpg but this includes the cold winter we experienced in the Netherlands.
And since mid January this year I started to use grill-blocking untill early April.
Untill now I have driven 4600 miles.
My last tank`s average however was much better: 52,35 mpg.
The Auris HSD has the same engine as the Prius III and it is available in Europe only.

I thought the Auris had the old 1.5L engine .
It should be on the roads in Israel very soon.
It is priced about 12% less than the Prius

No, it has the 1.8. The hybrid is the fastest and most powerful version of the Auris.

There is also 2,2 D-4D with 130 kW and 1.8 petrol with 108 k, so the hybrid version is not the most powerful version of the Auris

Thanks as too power makes sense you need to add the power of the electric engine and then you get 134 hp
