We just bought a 2011 Prius II, and it's currently at the dealer until tomorrow evening getting a couple of accessories installed. In the meantime, they gave us a loaner car... it's a 2011 Camry LE. No offense to any Camry drivers out there, but it has got to be one of the most uninteresting cars out there to drive. Ride is decently quiet, but I find it pretty uninspiring... nothing on the inside that's interesting to look at, the exterior is equally conservative. It also doesn't feel much bigger (if any at all) on the inside than the Prius, even though the outer dimensions are quite a bit larger. Heck, I even like our Scion xB better because of the interior utility, ease of entry/exit, and feeling of spaciousness compared to the Camry. Needless to say, I miss the Prius already.
Whenever my wife borrows my Prius for the day, I have withdrawal anxiety attacks. I have to take two margarita's and lay down. Hmmm...maybe the margaritas knock me down Prius is sure one fun car to drive.
I don't know about anyone else, but when driving another car and I get to a light, my stomach churns as the motor idles.
This is my first week with our new Prius II . My wife and I are taking turns, me all week going to work and her on the weekends. She works from home so she takes my dodge ram truck to drop off kids to school and to the gym, both just around the corner. Oh she gets off early on fridays so I have to take the dodge and I am going to feel strange getting back in my truck.
Last time I took my Prius in the rental/loaner was...a Prius. Least annoying rental I've had in a while.
This will be me tomorrow when I drop off my three day old Prius at the dealer to have heated leather seats installed. Getting a shuttle ride to and from work so no loaner which is fine with me. It's supposed to be ready at the end of the day and I can't wait to get into my new leather seats!
Very nice! I had heated seats installed... they work great! Not leather, but the heating element has a level 1 and a level 2, and is located on the side of the seat which is more handy to me than where the stock location is. So far so good!
