Ok I just got my Prius IV and I love it. I'm trying out my voice command and when you press the button the voice goes through examples of commands you can say. Is there a way to shorten that to have her say... Say a command (beep) or just a beep? Or do I have to listen to her go through her speech? Any tips or help is appreciated...
You must be asking about navigation. I do not have that as I use a Tom/Tom with Mr. T's voice. Congrats on your new Prius and welcome to PriusChat. :welcome: Someone will get you a solution.
Just double click the voice button and you will only hear a beep !! No annoying lady voice! You can also make her stop talking when u press the voice button during her speech. Try that and let me know how that worked for ya
I tried both... Pressed the button twice and found out how to turn the prompts off... Thanks guys... Now one more question... Sometimes when I hit the voice command and say audio it says that is not available at this time... But I can say iPod and it works... Anyone know why?
So these are separate? I haven't been able to figure out how to turn the prompts off unless I press the button twice... And yes, I have read the manual
Sorry for the delay ... Go to set up/ voice/ voice recognition guidance ... Turn it off .... This should help
Thank you so much! I had skipped past that option over and over again. I'm guessing I had a mental block with the "guidance" reference. It is now happily silent! Thanks again!
