Up here in Northwest Oregon is probably the place where you would see more pickup trucks and suv's than Prius. It is amazing how many 2010 model year Prius vehicle I see on the road everyday. Just a normal drive from Seaside to Astoria it is common to see 3-6 Prius 2010 model year vehicles. I could imagine in bigger cities with mild winters there must be thousands.... alfon
I too am seeing more prius here in the midwest. They have apparently become more available to the dealers and therefore, us the buyers. Just a few years ago I never saw new prius' sitting in a lot let alone a used model. Even here in Podunk the dealer was able to offer a choice of several models.
There aren't so many down here on the Redneck Riviera. The small town that I live in (pop 10,000) only has three that I've seen, including my work car and a pea-green G2 that almost ran over my motorcycle. (^&$%#! cell phones.....)
Not seeing all too many 3rd gens around SE Bay Area, still more 2nd gens, but conventionals most common.
Here in Tampa Bay area there is a thousands of them! We are like cockroaches if you see one there is a 100 more around the corner
There are so many Gen3 Prii here that I have quit noticing most of them. Now my brain generally takes note only of other hybrids.
I live in NW Oregon, and have a Prius and a 1 ton diesel PU. Wouldn't swap either one. BTW, the PU gives an honest 22mpg on the highway, and 16 pulling my trailer, which is large enough to park the Prius inside...
