Homelink and CodeDodger - will it work?

Sure, that's just a rolling-code opener. Most openers manufactured over the last 10 years are rolling-code. Mine is this type. They do not not change frequencies, just codes.

The Prius Homelink mirror can handle them. Three of them, in fact (you have 3 buttons to use).

 

And it's very easy to program - I followed the directions in the manual and was done within 5 minutes for both doors.

To program a Homelink button on your mirror to open & close your garage-door, do the following...

It includes full instructions on how to program both rolling and non-rolling code openers, how to use with X-10 devices, and even how to completely clear the memory (in case you get all screwed up on the programming, or in case you sell the car).

The most important tip is to pop a brand-new ultra-fresh battery into your old stand-alone opener before using it to program the Homelink® mirror.
