Don't know any in Buffalo area but in the Rochester, NY area there are three....The tintshop, Hi-line window tin and Diamond-Shield. The tint shop uses the 3M Scotchguard; Hi-line uses the 3M Scotchguard, Avery Nano Fusion and I believe the Ventureshield material and Diamond-Shield who is a Distributor for the Avery Nano Fusion uses the Nano film. As for cost. it depends on what you are covering....for a full hood and bumper/grill....the prices were $800, $800, and $625 respectively. My local toyota dealer who is just getting into paint protection film offered me an introductory price of $500. My own assessment is that given the time involved, 4-5 hrs plus the cost of the film plus profit....$500 is more than a fair price. Diamond-Shield sells bulk film as well as kit for DIY's. Bulk film go for $8.50/sq-ft.....A lot of profit in this stuff. FWIW...comparing the three films on a white car..., the Nano fusion film looked best for clarity... my opinion
$700, $800..................... you could have the hood repainted twice for that in the Buffalo area.
